Highland Experiences has been an accredited member of ‘Natural Britain‘ since its launch in 2020.They support and promote our Leave No Trace principles which makes our sea kayaking activities in the Highlands amounst the best there is.

Natural Britain is a tour company with a difference. Their aim is to promote the most environmental and sustainable tourism options from within the UK to their customers. They vet all participating tourist business against strict environmental and sustainability criteria before they can become members.

As a Natural Britain host Highland Experiences Limited, we are official supporters of Wester Ross UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and have developed a network of local activities to encourage visitors to stay in the area for longer periods of time and developing slow tourism.

Post Covid our customers are looking for natural experiences and shifting to exploring away from the crowds.

Highland Experiences is one of a limited number of companies the Natural Britain have engaged with after they sifted through the mass market offerings and selected a handful of authentic and responsibly operated experiences in the British Isles.

Given their extensive knowledge of the adventure travel market and industry connections established over 30+ years, they had recently received an influx of requests to recommend professionally-run and interesting domestic suppliers.
