Gairloch Canoe and Kayak Centre (now Highland Experiences) works in partnership with Outdoor First Aid Limited so all our clients are in safe hands; all of our guides are fully trained in up to date first aid practices and carry first aid kits and rescue equipment on their boats.

First Aid courses

Outdoor First Aid Limited are specialists in Outdoor and Wilderness First Aid training. Cory Jones, our founder and director, has worked in the outdoor sector for 30 years and has been running and developing first aid training for 15 years. Experience and competence are our bywords. Cory has also contributed to a number of wilderness first aid publications.

Outdoor First Aid Limited is a founding member of First Aid Training Co-operative.

Our trainers are based in Scotland and throughout the UK. There are also trainers based in the Alps and we work closley with Adventure First Aid in Kenya.

We regularly run Emergency First Aid at Work and First Aid at Work training. The company prides itself on running professional and innovative first aid courses. Noteworthy is that all our trainers are qualified ‘trainers’ and ‘assessors’ of first aid training.

Our first aid courses can run at your venue for small or large groups of staff.

Another focus is Sports First Aid training. Sports First Aid training is available for coaches of all levels and is focused on pitchside first aid techniques. Especially relevant is that SYFA have approved us to run their Sports First Aid courses.

Additionally trainers can run these courses at your venue; courses can be run for small or large groups of staff.

Outdoor First Aid now partners with First Aid Training Co-operative which was founded by Highland Experiences Director, Cory Jones.
