Scottish paddler –  Paddling the Peel. In Janaury 2023 this was the lead article in ‘Scottish Paddler’ the Membership magazine of the Scottish Canoe Association. The story of Cory and Dave’s 1000 mile wilderness canoe trip and their encounters with wolves, moose and beavers makes the feature article in this quarters Scottish Canoe Association membership magazine. As well as these major hurdles the pair had some wonderful interactions with the First Nations people of the Gwitchin group of indigenous peoples and saw the real life consequences of climate change happening on the ground.
