Influencers Highlands 2 Hammocks
Highland Experiences is proud to work with a number of influencers and bloggers. Recently we worked with Highlands 2 Hammocks; Gemma and Campbell have been travelling around Scotland, writing about the NC500 and high quality beginners outdoor activities to take part in across the rugged Scottish Highlands.
Gemma and Campbell, also known as ‘Highlands 2 Hammocks’ wanted to work with Cory Jones who manages our series of award winning outdoor centres across the Highlands. Their pre-season trip was around Shieldaig Bay in Gairloch and gave a great opportunity to safely view Grey Seals at a distance- some of the more curious seals even came over to the kayaks to say hello which was quite magical!
Highland Experiences has worked with a wide range of bloggers over the past few years and welcome the opportunity to let them have their voice by taking part in our beginners kayak experiences. We hope that influencers such as these will encourage tourists in Scotland to come and enjoy the beautiful scenery whilst also ensuring to treat the natural world with a good deal of respect and care.
In addition to spotting lots of wildlife Gemma and Campbell took some nifty drone footage of the area around Gairloch where we kayak with groups; Campbell managed to both launch and land his drone from our stable double sea kayak, which is some feat! Their shots of the area will be going into their latest book on travelling the NC500 route in their motorhome.
